Legislative Update

We're more than half way through the legislative year, and we currently have 70 enactments and 194 introductions. Given the fact that this is an even-numbered year, when some state legislatures do not meet and others have only short sessions, 2010 is on pace to be a very good year. The U.S. Virgin Islands continues to lead all states with 18 enactments. And while no other state is going to top that enactment total, a number of other states are having very good years: Tennessee has five enactments, the District of Columbia and Kentucky each has four enactments, and numerous other states have at least three enactments. Watch this space for more updates!
